OK..... If you have been out and about this last couple of weeks you may have noticed this familiar advertisement. Lets cut to the chase.... NO, we did not hit your car. I hope you realize that the good folks of dynastyevents.com have better things to do then vandalizing random vehicles in our nightclubs. Rather, if you found yourself circling your vehicle looking for the potential HIT, then that says a lot about the level of intoxication you were in.
Hopefully it grabbed your attention. No need to call GEICO.

Wyclef Jean is spending his Saturday responding to critics alleging that his Yele Haiti Foundation has administrative expenses that exceed those of other charities.
The popular musician’s very public efforts to raise funds for the Yele Haiti Foundation have come under scrutiny of late, especially following a piece by the Washington Post that discusses reports made by the Smoking Gun.
The Smoking Gun released the organization’s Internal Revenue Service records and called into question $410,000 the foundation spent on rent, product services, and the singer’s appearance at benefit concert. The site writes:
Internal Revenue Service records show the group has a lackluster history of accounting for its finances, and that the organization has paid the performer and his business partner at least $410,000 for rent, production services, and Jean’s appearance at a benefit concert. Though the Wyclef Jean Foundation, which does business as Yele Haiti Foundation, was incorporated 12 years ago–and has been active since that time–the group only first filed tax returns in August 2009….
…The recording studio also was paid $100,000 in 2006 for the “musical performance services of Wyclef Jean at a benefit concert.”
In response to these allegations, Jean has posted a video to YouTube to address his critics. In the video embedded below, Jean says that he’s just returned from Haiti and that he’s always been committed to the people of Haiti. He continues by saying that he’s disappointed to come back to an “attack on my integrity and my foundation.” He then goes into more detail about why he started the Yele Haiti organization and discusses some of the expenses coming under fire.
MY BOY FASHEN IS COMING THROUGH TAMPA TO WRECK SHOP TOMORROW NIGHT AT BLUE MARTINI! THIS IS SOMETHING YOU DEFINITELY DON'T WANT TO MISS!
PART OF DECKSTAR, A ROSTER OF DJ'S INCLUDING THE LIKES OF DJ AM, DJ JAZZY JEFF, DJ SCENE, DJ SPIDER, STEVE AOKI, AND MORE, FASHEN PLAYS AN ESSENTIAL ROLE IN THE BUDDING LOS ANGELES CLUB SCENE. HIS MASTERY OF THE ART OF TURNTABLISM, SONG SELECTION, AND STAGE PRESENCE SET HIM WAY AHEAD OF THE REST... CHECK OUT SOME OF THESE VIDS...
I will admit... I don't like being here in the first place... Here in this position and having to write this entry.
This past Saturday marked the last Saturday we would be hosting the Saturday nights at Mambo's (Fuego).
We had a great run and were lucky enough to call Mambo's our "home away from home" for a good three years. The decision came about strictly because of business reasons... Absolutely nothing personal. We wish the best of luck for Anderson and the entire staff at Mambo's. We will forever hold Mambo's in our hearts and hopefully this decision brings the best of success to us both...
As for OUR Saturday nights, stay tuned because we have some BIG THINGS IN THE WORKS! Our party is moving! LIL JAY, SOLTRIX, and MYSELF (KU) will soon have a new place to call home on SATURDAYS!
hint: upscale chic nightclub in a central location...
So I'm sitting in my living room just coasting the internet as I usually do most evenings before getting my mind set right for the clubs... And I just stumbled across this little gem and literally PEED MY PANTS... OK... No I didn't... But regardless I was laughing pretty hard by myself.
I'VE ALWAYS HAD MIXED OPINIONS WHEN IT COMES TO LIL WAYNE... I THINK MY FAVORITE LIL WAYNE RECORD IS STILL CARTER II... NOTHING HE DOES TOPS THAT FOR ME... AS WEIRD AS HE CAN GET SOMETIMES NO ONE CAN DENY THE FACT THAT HE HAS RIGHTFULLY CARVED HIS NAME INTO HIP HOP'S HISTORY BOOKS BY ALWAYS BEING ONE STEP AHEAD OF THE REST... ESPECIALLY WITH SOUTHERN RAPPERS. CONSTANTLY REINVENTING HIMSELF IS PROBABLY WHAT I RESPECT THE MOST FROM HIM... ANYWAYS, I'M FEELING THIS TRACK RIGHT HERE... DIGGIN THE 80'S SAMPLE AND THE PRODUCTION IS ON POINT.
I'M STARTING TO GET REAL ANCY WAITING FOR FRIDAY THE 15TH AT BLUE MARTINI... IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T HEARD, WE'RE BRINGING IN ONE OF L.A.'S PREMIER DJ'S... DJ FASHEN... IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD OF HIM, HE'S DEFINITELY SOMEONE THAT NEEDS TO BE SEEN LIVE (SAVE THE DATE BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANNA MISS THAT)...
I REALIZE THERE'S A GOOD HANDFUL OF YOU WHO HAVEN'T HEARD OF HIM, SO I THOUGHT I'D INTRODUCE YOU PROPERLY... CHECK OUT THIS MIXTAPE HE DID FOR DECKSTAR... PERFECT FOR YOUR IPODS!
